Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Adepth Minerals AS handles personal data when you visit our website, contact us or send us a job application. It applies to our Adepth website and its Webflow-hosted staging version.
1. Who is responsible?
Adepth Minerals AS (organisation no. 925 373 044), Edvard Griegs vei 1, 5059 Bergen, Norway, is the data controller. For questions about this policy or to exercise your privacy rights, email post@adepthminerals.no.
2. What information do we process, and why?
Enquiries and contact forms
When you contact us by email or through a website form, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address and message, together with any subsequent correspondence. We use it to respond to your enquiry and manage the related business dialogue. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and communicating with people who contact us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). If the enquiry concerns a contract with you personally, processing necessary to take steps before entering into or to perform that contract may instead be based on Article 6(1)(b).
Job applications
If you send us a CV or application, we process the contact details, qualifications and other information you choose to provide to assess your application and communicate with you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible employment contract (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in considering unsolicited applications (Article 6(1)(f)), as applicable. Please do not send sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your application.
Website operation and security
When you visit the website, technical data such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and access times may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose technical issues. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).
We receive information directly from you when you contact us. Technical information is generated when your browser connects to the website. Providing contact details is voluntary, but without them we may not be able to respond.
3. Cookies and analytics
The site may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies required for hosting, security and basic functionality. According to our current website setup, we do not use optional analytics cookies, advertising pixels or newsletter tracking. We will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before introducing non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect how the website works.
4. Who receives the information?
Relevant employees or authorised service providers may access information only where needed for the purposes described above. We use Webflow to host the website and handle website form submissions. We also use an email provider to receive and respond to messages and applications. We do not sell your personal data. If you follow a link to an external website, such as LinkedIn, that website's own privacy policy applies.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Webflow is based in the United States and states that customer and end-user data may be stored there. Transfers outside the European Economic Area are subject to applicable safeguards, including Webflow's Data Processing Addendum and its stated transfer mechanisms. You can read more in Webflow's privacy FAQs and Data Processing Addendum.
6. How long do we keep the information?
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and any relevant follow-up. If a business relationship develops, relevant correspondence may be kept for that relationship and, where necessary, to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Applications and CVs are kept for the relevant recruitment process and necessary follow-up, unless a longer period is agreed with you or required by law. Technical data may be retained according to our hosting provider's applicable operation and security practices. We use these purposes and obligations to determine how long information is needed.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If we rely on consent for a future activity, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Contact us at post@adepthminerals.no to make a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
We do not use information collected through this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be available on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown above.
